Description:
This commission maintains relationships with other churches, clubs, and groups involved with charity or benevolent work or services. They support the needs of various community organizations, enlist the support of the congregation in response to these needs as the needs arise, and maintain contact with church members serving in the armed forces, as applicable. They Encourage members to acquaint themselves with service agencies in the community that may be helpful in the work of the Commission, and plan to assist with special days, i.e. Christian Family Week, Freedom and Democracy Sunday, CROP Walk, Blanket Sunday, Labor Day, and Special Day treats for the Youth Homes.
